Privacy policy

We are a consultancy, not a data business. We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run the site.

We use the information above for a small and specific set of purposes:

• To reply to you. If you send an enquiry, we use your contact details to answer it, ask follow-up questions, and arrange a conversation.
• To prepare a proposal. The company, industry and budget fields help us judge scope and give you a realistic answer rather than a generic one.
• To schedule and hold meetings. Booking data is used to put the call in the calendar and to send you the joining details.
• To keep a record of the relationship. We keep past enquiries so that if you come back to us months later, we know the history and you do not have to explain it again.
• To understand and improve the site. Analytics tells us which pages people actually read.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process the information you submit through a form on the basis of the consent you give by choosing to submit it, for the purpose of responding to that enquiry. Analytics and security logging rest on our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website. You are never required to give us personal information to read this site.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your enquiry to train machine learning models.

We use a small number of established service providers to run the site and handle enquiries. Each of them only receives the data it needs to do its job.

• Supabase hosts the database in which enquiries and booking records are stored. Access is restricted to our team.
• Resend delivers the transactional email that follows a form submission: the notification to our team, and the acknowledgement sent to you.
• Calendly provides the meeting scheduler and holds the booking details you enter there.
• Vercel hosts and serves this website, and keeps the technical request logs that come with hosting.
• Google Analytics processes the website usage data described above.

Some of these providers operate servers outside India, so your information may be stored or processed abroad. We choose providers that offer contractual data protection terms and standard security practice, and we use them under those terms.

Within Taheri Developers, enquiries are visible only to the people who need to see them in order to respond to you and manage the work.

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as the relationship is reasonably live, and for up to three years after our last contact with you. That window exists because consultancy conversations often resume long after the first email, and because we may need the record for tax, accounting or contractual reasons.

Where an enquiry becomes a project, the associated records are kept for as long as the project agreement and Indian statutory record-keeping requirements need them.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See the section on your rights below.

This site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics. It does not run advertising or retargeting pixels, and it does not sell or share your browsing behaviour with ad networks.

The Calendly scheduler, when you open it, may set its own cookies as part of running the booking widget.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on. The site works normally either way.

We share personal information only in these situations:

• With the service providers listed above, so they can perform their function.
• With professional advisers such as our accountants or lawyers, where they need it and are under a duty of confidence.
• Where we are required to by Indian law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.

We do not share your details with other clients, and we do not name you or your company publicly without asking you first.

The site is served over HTTPS. Database credentials and API keys are held as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to the browser. Access to the enquiry database is limited to authorised members of our team.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will act to contain it and notify you and the relevant authority as required under Indian law.

You can ask us to do any of the following with the personal information we hold about you:

• Access. Ask for a copy of what we hold and a summary of how it has been used.
• Correction. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.
• Deletion. Ask us to erase your information, unless we are required to keep it for a legal or contractual reason, in which case we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
• Withdraw consent. Tell us to stop contacting you. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
• Grievance. Raise a complaint about how we have handled your information.

To exercise any of these, email managetaheri@gmail.com with the request and enough detail for us to find your record, such as the email address you used when contacting us. We will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

These rights are set out for individuals in India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are contacting us from another jurisdiction, we will honour equivalent requests where that jurisdiction’s law applies to us.

This site is intended for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site or our tooling changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page.
